Biographical Note Antonio Heras (1882-1964) was a Spanish educator, novelist, and poet. He taught Spanish and Spanish Literature at USC from 1925-1950, was the chair of the Spanish Department, and retired as an Emeritus Professor. After retiring, he also taught at UC Berkeley and Scripps College.
